The Story behind CrystalSky
CrystalSky is a small development team based in Germany. We originally started as a GitHub organization under the name "BasicSites". Over time we went through several random name changes before eventually settling on CrystalSky.
Our first "big" project was LiteTube, which was even self-hosted at the time. However, we took it down fairly quickly due to several security issues. The project is still available on GitHub if you're curious and want to take a look.
Why are we doing this?
We believe in open source, self-hosting, and building things that are fun to use.
